Mews

Connect your Mews property to Opally so the AI assistant can use live reservations, availability, and guest details when drafting replies.

Prerequisites

  • Mews account with Marketplace access

  • Admin access to your property in Mews

Setup Steps

1. Enable Opally in Mews Marketplace

  1. Log in to your Mews Operations account

  2. Go to Marketplace in the main menu

  3. Search for "Opally" and click to open the integration

  4. Click Enable to activate Opally for your property

2. Get Your Mews Credentials

You need three values from Mews:

Required: Hotel ID (Property Identifier)

  1. Go to SettingsProperty

  2. Copy the Identifier (this becomes your Hotel ID in Opally)

Required: Configuration ID (Booking Engine Identifier)

  1. Go to ServicesStayBooking engines

  2. Open your booking engine

  3. Copy the Identifier (this becomes your Configuration ID in Opally)

Access Token

  1. Go to MarketplaceMy subscriptionsOpally

  2. Click the key icon

  3. Copy the Access Token

3. Connect in Opally

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar

  2. Find Mews in the PMS section and click Connect

  3. Enter your credentials:

    • Hotel ID – The Property Identifier from Mews Settings

    • Configuration ID – The Booking Engine Identifier from Mews Services

    • Access Token – From the Mews Marketplace

  4. Click Connect

Troubleshooting

Connection fails

  • Verify your IDs match exactly (no extra spaces)

  • Make sure the integration is enabled in Mews Marketplace

  • Check that you have admin access in Mews

Availability not showing

  • Allow a few minutes for initial sync

  • Check your rate plans are active in Mews

  • Verify room types are correctly configured

Cannot create bookings

  • Check that Agent Actions are enabled in Opally

  • Verify your Access Token is correct
