Opera Cloud

Connect Oracle Opera Cloud to enable real-time availability and automated booking management.

Prerequisites

  • Opera Cloud account

  • OHIP (Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform) access

  • API credentials from Oracle

Setup Steps

1. Request API Access

Opera Cloud integrations require API credentials from Oracle:

  1. Contact your Oracle account manager

  2. Request OHIP API access for Opally

  3. Oracle will provide your credentials

2. Contact Opally Support

Due to Opera's setup complexity:

  1. Email info@opally.com

  2. Include your Opera property details

  3. We'll guide you through the configuration

3. Provide Credentials

Once you have API credentials:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar

  2. Find Opera Cloud and click Connect

  3. Enter your OHIP credentials

  4. Select your property

Important Notes

API Limits

Opera Cloud has API rate limits. Opally optimizes requests to stay within limits.

Data Freshness

Availability is fetched in real-time. Cached data is used when appropriate to improve response times.

Contact support for multi-property Opera setups.

Troubleshooting

Connection issues

  • Verify OHIP credentials are correct

  • Check API access is enabled

  • Contact Oracle support if credentials don't work

Availability incorrect

  • Verify inventory is correct in Opera

  • Check rate code configuration

  • Allow time for sync after Opera changes
